Services for education

ASSESSMENTS - ADVICE - STAFF TRAINING

Providing children and young people with SEND the appropriate level and type of provision is an essential statutory and moral duty of schools and post-16 institutions. This duty is embedded in legislation including, though not exclusively, the SEND Code of Practice (2015), the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Regulations (2014) and the Children and Families Act (2014), in addition to the Teachers’ Standards (2011).

However, providing effectively for the complexity and breadth of SEND, combined with simultaneously fulfilling the daily demands of a modern educational establishment, can mean that having the capacity to appropriately execute these obligations to the highest standards can be a vast challenge.

A range of services are therefore on offer to help bolster the quality, range and depth of your SEND planning, provision, resource allocation, staff training and evaluation.

                                         These services are detailed below.
