The parent support services listed below are designed to make this process much clearer and quicker for you and your child.
My aim is to keep special educational needs support as affordable as possible.
FREE SERVICES - My advice via email to parents is free of charge.
This could cover school related issues, transition to a new school, behaviour at home or school, special school and SRB advice and advice around EHCPs.
CHARGED SERVICES - all services are currently being offered online, via video link, FaceTime or WhatsAPP video call, as appropriate.
Parent Consultation - This can be by phone or via video link, Facetime or WhatsAPP video call
Ask any questions about SEN provision in schools, what your child is entitled to, referrals for assessment, EHCPs, part-time timetables and much more.
The cost for this service is currently just £40 per hour.
Online dyslexia and dyscalculia screening service - only £40 per screening with a full report - please see the 'Online Screening' page for full details.
Special Educational Needs – Fixed Price Pupil Assessment Package
In response to demand from parents, I am now offering a comprehensive assessment package at a fixed price.
The package includes:
1. A dyslexia screening
2. A dyslcalculia screening
3. A visual cognitive assessment
4. An assessment of expressive vocabulary
5. A memory assessment
6. An emotional literacy assessment - this covers social skills, self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy and motivation
7. A telephone consultation with you
8. A full report covering the results and recommendations for school, within 14 working days of the assessments being completed.
This package can now be conducted completely online in the current climate that we live in.
The price for all of the above is just £255.
Emotional Literacy assessment package - this features an 'emotional literacy' assessment for children aged from 7 to 11. Emotional Literacy refers to our self-awareness, recognition of our own feelings and knowing how to manage them, such as the ability to stay calm when angered or to reassure oneself when in doubt. The assessment also covers social skills, empathy and motivation, and includes a full report covering the results profile and recommendations for school - £90
Education and Health Care Plans can cause parents a lot of anxiety and concern.
SEN Achieve's parent support services can move forward the EHCP process for your child. These services include:
EHCP assessment request writing - £220 - this includes discussions with you, reading the relevant paperwork and reports, and writing and editing the application letter or document.
