I have created a new second testimonials page as the first one has reached its data capacity.

For 10 years I have helped parents across the country to secure EHCPs, EHCP content, EOTAS packages, independent and local authority specialist school placements, and independent mainstream school placements for their children. 

Over 90% of the tribunal appeals that I write never reach an actual hearing, as the case is conceded before the tribunal date.

Since the end of January (2024) 38 local authorities have conceded/ backed down in response to the tribunal appeals which I have written. 

This has saved the parents from the stress and potential expense of an actual tribunal hearing.

Thank you Chris so much for navigating us through an impossible system to achieve Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) for my daughter at Tribunal yesterday (30/4/24). 

We cannot recommend you highly enough for your support, expertise, professionalism and care. 

From the beginning two years ago you helped us to achieve an EHCP for our daughter when the system seemed to stop moving - you provided us with legal time frames and our rights on what to expect and how to appeal when everyone else was silent.

You also supported us as parents through the difficult process of finding specialist placements none of the nine of which were appropriate for the very complex needs of our child, and supported us to EOTAS. 

An extremely difficult legal bar to satisfy but one which you relentlessly pursued with us, along with required amendments to the B,F and I sections of her EHCP yesterday.

We as a family cannot thank Chris enough for all the work he has put in for our son X.

I contacted Chris by recommendation at a very low point, and we didn’t know what to do. Chris helped us with some amazing advice, knowing the send law and helped us get out of a tricky situation with appealing over the Xmas period. 

He then wrote our appeal and returned it in the same day! It was so strong. I literally cried reading it. He did everything and even wrote us the template to copy and paste to send it off.

EHCP Refusal to Issue Tribunal Application

Chris I still can’t thank you enough for all your help guidance with X and the difference in X since started SEN school is amazing. 

She is coming to end of her 1st year in the school her outlook and confidence is million times better than this time last year. X’s words are school not that bad and it’s kind of interesting this is huge from someone who used to hide in rooms or toilets away from everyone and had to be home schooled.

SEN Advice

I contacted Chris by telephone and was immediately put at ease. I had watched some of his you tube videos- which were extremely helpful. I had read his reviews but needed to speak to him to confirm he was the right man for the job. (He was!!) 

I sent him all the records and assessments we had and he was able to assure me very quickly that my son does qualify for an EHC needs assessment. He explained in lay man’s terms what he needed to do to evidence our case. 

He called me twice to discuss my son and what he would deliver in order to support our case for tribunal ( EHC needs assessment). 

Fortunately for us the LA conceded before Chris put pen to paper so we have pressed pause for now.

SEN Advice

I saw a post offering advice and asking if anyone needed any help. My son has had an awful experience at his first primary school and was moved to a temporary placement. They have been wonderful and he has achieved so much but sadly do not offer any permanent places. After getting an EHCP in July the LA tried to place him in 9 schools. They either said they could not meet needs or had no place. They decided to name one of the schools on his EHCP that had already said they can’t meet his needs. I was so worried that his education would be further disrupted and all the hard work of the current school would be undone. 

The same evening I sought advice I had a phone call and was given fantastic advice and pointers on how to handle the situation. Within less than 4 weeks my son has viewed the school his SENCO recommended, completed a taster session and been offered a place. I thought I would have a battle on my hands with the LA as it is an independent school due to funding etc. and had an email yesterday to say they agree with the placement no argument! 

To say I’m over the moon is an understatement. None of this would have happened without the fantastic, professional advice I received in just one call.  

I’m so grateful to Chris and the genuine care and support we were given - it’s refreshing to be listened to as a parent and actually get some ‘real time’ help that you don’t have to beg and chase for years - as many SEN parents will know is usually par for the course!

EHCP Draft Review

Chris has been a godsend to me.  

I had issues with a draft EHCP and didn't understand it all all. He took the stress away and added everything  that should have been on it. Let's hope they include it all on the final plan.

I'd recommend Chris in a heartbeat. thank you Chris for everything you do for the children!
