For 10 years I have helped parents across the country to secure EHCPs, EHCP content, EOTAS packages, independent and local authority specialist school placements, and independent mainstream school placements for their children. 

Over 90% of the tribunal appeals that I write never reach an actual hearing, as the case is conceded before the tribunal date.

Since the end of January (2024) 38 local authorities have conceded/ backed down in response to the tribunal appeals which I have written. 

This has saved the parents from the stress and potential expense of an actual tribunal hearing.

Words just can’t describe how grateful we are to Chris for being by our side throughout our whole EHCP rollercoaster experience.

Chris at SEN Achieve, what can we say.

I first met Chris when I asked him to carry out an independent school assessment on my child as I was being given conflicting reports on their behaviour in class, outside teaching and groups. 

This was when our journey really began, as up until this point he had given advice, let me bend his ear and moan, have a cry, the wreck that I was.

Well his report was worth it. It proved I was not being told what was happening and that my preference was right for my child. A mother always knows her child.

He then supported me with my draft EHCP, coached me through the minefield of school consultations and finally meetings with the Local Authority, not that they cared to take on board his experience, knowledge or even the law.

However, he persevered with me, assisted writing our appeal and tribunal documents. 

Then we got the offer for the independent dyslexic school we wanted, it went to panel and was agreed a mere 1 month before our due Tribunal date. 

Our child has started his specialist setting in September and is a changed child! 

We also have an EHCP which supports his known needs. 

I got the OT I was told I would never get, I got the school, people laughed in my face when I first said I was trying to do this for my child. Chris didn’t. 

He gave me a caring ear and shoulder to carry my burdens and he offered us nothing but support as a family. 

We will always be grateful.

Good morning Chris,

Just to let you know that we finally have the EHCP with our choice of school name for X.  It has been a difficult few weeks with the school saying they could meet her needs and then the SEN Officer going AWOL but we got there. 

They have also made the majority of changes that you suggested so that was brilliant!!  A MASSIVE THANK YOU for all your help.  It feels like it has been a long journey to get here and I am not sure I could not have done it without your support.

Well what can I say, Chris has been working with me since Sept/October 2020. daughter has ASD, not in school. bit of a complex situation which Covid and lockdown hasn't helped with. 

He has been fantastic, we have to go to tribunal and i thought id be able to do it alone but it was far too overwhelming and exhausting. i handed all my documents over and let Chris take over. the documentation we have now for tribunal is nothing id ever be able to come up with on my own, ever. we have our tribunal this month, after a long wait. so we are keeping everything crossed that they agree with us! 

Chris is really understanding, approachable, responsive and he knows what he is talking about. i have recommended all my fellow parent friends who have children with SEN needs/EHCP to ask him for advice. honestly I don't now where I'd be without him. thank you so much Chris, you literally have no idea how much you have taken most of the weight with this. i do appreciate it .. Chris has been absolutely fantastic. We have used Chris for a Dyscalculia Screening for our daughter together with using him to apply for an EHCP Assessment.

Chris has been extremely thorough in his report for her Dyscalculia screening and was in communication with us constantly.

We then used him to put a detailed letter and report together to apply for an EHCP. Again, we had constant communication between us, phone calls for him to discuss our Daughters needs etc and emailing between ourselves. Once the letter and report had been done we received a last minute OT report and Chris went above and beyond by adding this to the EHCP letter. 

I would highly recommend Chris. It certainly took away the stress of us having to put such a thorough and detailed report together. I honestly could not have done this stage of the application without using his extremely professional services!

I was so impressed with the time and care that Chris took to understand my ASD/PDA daughter.
