"I would not hesitate to recommend Chris to any Sen parents/carers who are fighting this broken system, Chris has incredible Sen knowledge and with his amazing support, we was at ease, and felt well supported and prepared with Chris during our appeal and Tribunal hearing to which we won the Specialist Independent setting, we can not thank Chris enough!"
I am an established SEN Adviser and Tribunal Representative.
I am also am the author of 'LiStEN to me - A guide to help you get the best SEN support for your child'.
Over 90% of the appeal applications that I write result in the local authority conceding before the tribunal hearing. Since the end of January (2024) 38 local authorities have conceded/ backed down in response to the tribunal appeals which I have written. This has saved the parents from the stress and potential expense of an actual tribunal hearing.
Prior to this role I worked in local authority schools for 18 years, in primary, junior and secondary school settings, and have held the positions of class teacher, SENCo, Head of Teaching and Learning, Assistant Headteacher and Inclusion Leader. I have worked with every year group from Nursery up to and including Year 13.
I have been writing EHCP and Tribunal appeal applications for 10 years, and have successfully helped hundreds of families across the country to secure EHCPs for their children, suitable EHCP content, and suitable school placements.
Through the cases which I have worked on I have secured very unique and high levels of EHCP content for children, including:
Drawing upon this vast experience I offer established tribunal support services for parents.
Tribunal appeals can cover:
EHCPs - Refusal to assess
EHCPs - Refusal to issue
EHCPs - Content
School placement decisions.
